Q- How many marks are needed in NEET exam?
The minimum qualification required to sit for this exam is as under-
1. You need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate with 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics taken together.
But for the SC/ST candidates a relaxation of 5% is there.So they needs to get 45% of marks in physics, chemistry and biology put together.
2. You must attain an age of 17 years for this examination. There is upper age limit relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates there is 5 years age relaxation.
Exam Pattern:-
A total of 180 questions will be asked and from each subject therefore you will have to answer 45 questions. You will get three hours to complete the whole paper and negative marking is there so for each wrong answer 1/4th marks will get deducted. Questions will come from the following subjects:-
-Physics
-Chemisty
-Biology
-Zoology
